Terri McDowell has been working as an AmeriFirst Finance account executive for the past two years. She now calls the metropolitan Atlanta area her home but spent most of her life in Central Florida. Terri covers the southeast region of the U.S., which includes seven states.
Terri says that her AmeriFirst mission is to seek out home improvement contractors with a desire to offer smart, no-fee financing to their customers, thereby growing their business without risking margin.
She shows potential AmeriFirst merchants how they can reduce financing expenses, increase net close ratios, increase their average ticket, and exceed customer expectations.
“Having an extensive background in home improvement as well as consumer lending helps me to better communicate with home improvement merchants about the value of AmeriFirst. I’m really able to put myself in their shoes,” said McDowell.
Terri loves attending home improvement shows because she gets to travel to exciting places and show people the value of the company she so enthusiastically supports.
Having lived in the South her entire life, Terri enjoys traveling the Southeast. Some of her favorite Southeastern cities include Nashville, Charlotte, Asheville, and Charleston, to name a few.
“I am looking forward to the Expo in Nashville in October. Nashville is a cool city with great vibes. The show and the venue will attract many smart and ambitious home improvement contractors. It’s a great place to catch up with our current contractor base as well as talk to others about the benefits of adding AmeriFirst financing,” McDowell said.
When Terri isn’t working, she loves to spend time with family and friends, especially during sports events.
