Charlie Woodhull has been working as the Midwest account executive for AmeriFirst Finance for almost a year.
Part of his work involves recruiting new contractors and teaching them how to use the AmeriFirst platform, but the most rewarding aspect of his job is consulting with owners and saving them hundreds of thousands of dollars in finance fees annually.
“Helping clients through the onboarding process and beyond is very rewarding,” Woodhull said. “AmerifFirst prides itself in emphasizing relationships, which is easy to do when Midwesterners have such great attitudes.”
Woodhull is based out of Chicago, but his region covers the rest of Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. He makes about one trip a month to a home or garden show elsewhere in the Midwest region and spends the rest of his time out of his home office.
He believes that the great attitudes and the work ethic of his clients make working in the Midwest unique.
A graduate of Indiana University, Woodhull believes that he has the “hometown advantage” when it comes to understanding the needs of contractors in the area.
“Folks in this area are very straightforward and want to do their business with someone they can trust, which is one of the major reasons why they choose us,” Woodhull said.
When Charlie isn’t wearing his AmeriFirst hard hat, he enjoys catching Chicago Cubs games, spending time outside, and traveling to new cities.
